Good morning, everyone! I apologize for being inactive lately, as I needed to address some health concerns. I am so glad to be back and to continue growing and learning with all of you. Today marks the last day of our study on A Godly Woman, but of course, please continue your studies on your own. A great place to start is, of course, Ruth, Esther, and reading about all the other amazing women God has mentioned in His Word.
Let’s begin in Titus 2:4-5:
4. That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5. To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Supporting other women in their work with the Lord is part of building God’s Kingdom. Whether it's through mentorship, prayer, or simply being a friend, you have a responsibility to help other women grow in faith. This is not only about teaching, but also about setting an example of godly living. We must invest in the spiritual growth of other women around us, and we do this by building relationships.
Building relationships can be difficult for anyone nowadays, but it is still necessary to grow together in Christ. Too often, people have an "every man for himself" mentality, making it hard to connect with others. When you support women with the wrong things, it never lasts long. As we know, the Bible says in Hebrews 11:25:
“Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season.”
Sin is never a reliable support system, and that’s one of the problems in the world today. We are constantly trying to support someone living a life that goes against God’s Word. We need to share the Gospel and lead them to salvation. Trust me, by doing this and supporting them in the Lord, you will form friendships and relationships that will last. I am not saying you will never disagree, but you will remember that your friendship is not about you; it’s about the love God has for you both and the price He paid for you.
We must create a culture of support and accountability among the women in our lives. We must be there for each other, listen, encourage righteous behavior, and love one another. Women have been pitted against each other for years, but if you think about it, that’s exactly what the devil wants. Together, united in serving God, we are a force to be reckoned with.
As we learned in earlier studies, by learning who we are in Christ, we gain strength beyond measure. When we stand strong in His Word, we also encourage the men of Christ to step out and invest in young men to lead them to the Lord. Everyone has their part. While we may not be called to lead men to Christ, we can support that godly man, encouraging him to lead others to the Lord.
